Sjónvarpsþáttaröðin Fangar var sigursælust á Edduverðlaunahátíðinni sem fram fór í kvöld fóru heim með tíu verðlaun. Kvikmyndin Undir trénu kom þar næst með sjö verðlaun. Fengu meðal annars verðlaun sem besta leikna sjónvarpsefnið og fyrir handrit, klippingu og kvikmyndatöku ársins. Steinunn Ólína Þorsteinsdóttir fékk verðlaun sem besta leikkona í aukahlutverki en þar bar svo við að allar þrjár leikonurnar sem voru tilnefndar léku í.
